Well - I certainly have been busy it has been crazy! Being a new Mum and then returning to work full time has limited my craft time to nearly none apart from producing cards for class.....here are a few I have done over the last few months....

Watercolouring with Distress Inks

Hi Everyone. Once again I have been playing with my Distress Inks and I gave watercolouring with them a go. O my gosh! They are beautiful to watercolour with. Here is a class I will be doing with them next Thursday night.



I have used new Basci Grey papers and Sarah Kay stamps.....love how they have turned out.

Ebay and Stampin Stuff

Wow - an update for you all. Look at this pic below! OMG - I am hooked on Ebay! And also this little website called Stampin Stuff. Also all the flowers are from a shop in the UK. Aren't they beautiful?! The stamp sets are Tim Holtz which I am a little hooked on at the moment along with all of his embellishments which I got from Amy at www.stampinstuff.com.au

Distress Inks

Distress inks - don't you love them. Tim Holtz - you are a genius! I am loving the new colours that have just come out. I have been playing with them all week. Below is a pic of the class that I will be teaching on April 29. Using Distress Inks and showcasing a couple of different techniques....I love love love them :)

Inspiration

Sometimes you jump on someone's blog and it inspires you to create something beautiful. I found this blog a couple of days ago http://floliescrap.over-blog.com/ and Flo's cute little cart with the umbrella inspired me to make this card. I love it and thanks Flo for a beautiful blog!

I also learnt how to make beautiful flowers the other day too - doilies and tissue paper and Smooch Spritzers. Thanks to You Tube! :)

Webster's Pages

The shop has just got in some new Webster Pages. They are absolutly beautiful. Being a card maker it is really hard to use these pages on cards without taking away from the paper so I decided to do a scrap page. Getting inspirationfrom the Webster Pages site - http://websterspages.ning.com and now that I have a beautiful subject to scrap - this is what I came up with.

Baby...!

Wow - so sorry it has been so long! So much has happened since I blogged last and so many cards have been made since too!


Firstly - great news is that I am now the proud mother of a beautiful baby girl - Ella Rose. Ella was born on 28 January.





It has been a busy and hectic month adjusting to not working, being a mum and being on demand 24/7 and also fitting in craft! But I wouldn't change anything. She is just adorable - I am so in love!

In regards to craft - I am back teaching tonight.

V FESTIVAL

Everyone who knows me knows I love music so I had to go to the V Festival when it was on the Gold Coast. The Killers, Duffy, Snow Patrol and Razorlight were my favs on the day. My friend Sarah and I had a ball!

ANZAC DAY PERFORMANCES - Beenleigh Area Queensland

Some of you know that I sing - well I am part of the Beenleigh Theatre Group and our vocal ensemble A-Chord are singing at the Beenleigh Sports Club on Monday 20 and Wednesday 23 April. Would love to have you along! And best of all it is free!
