As I have said before - I rarely get time to post every day and even once a week is a push, so when I do post - I have a bit of a collection to put up. Here are a few of my latest - hope you like!
Just showing off Jovi again - he is getting big! 5 months old now...
I am dabbling a bit in decoupage - I love these angels and I am pretty proud of it - it has turned out really nicely.

Making use of pastels - I love this Penny Black stamp. I have put glitter on the face of the flowers - although pictures never show glitter very well. I have coloured in using the Stampin Up water colour crayons....my favourite medium at the moment.

Once I get on a roll with a design I make a few! :)

How nice is this Stampin Up set - Christmas Time. Once again I have used the water colour crayons for colour in with a blending pens.

Another design that I ran with.....I made six of these today.

Using the Stampin Up Loads of Love set - How cute is this little truck?!

Same design - different stamp - using the City Of David Stampin Up set.

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone and a safe holiday season! I hope that you get lots of time to stamp - but don't forget to hit the shops for the sales!

Time?

I look at blogs all the time and I am baffled how people can update everyday. Not just update everyday, but have a new project to show too! I am lucky to be able to make cards once a week, so I envy those people that get to do it everyday - that would be heaven to me!
Here are a couple Christmas Cards that I thought I would share with you all......

I want to thank Vicki for showing me how to do the lovely card above!
This one is an oldie - but I do love it
Peny Black stamps - aren't they adorable!

Nestabilities!

I got a new toy the other day - I know, I am probably very behind, but I have found them hard to find here. Spellbinders Nestabilities! I got my first set last week and have spent today trying them out. At the moment I have the scalloped circle - but I am very much looking forward to getting the whole set! I practiced with a new Magenta stamp - here is what I managed to create.

I will keep playing and upload as I go....chow for now!

New Bo Bunny Papers and Magenta Stamps

I bought some new Magenta Stamps - so I decided to give them a go with new Bo Bunny Papers and Kaiser Papers. I love the colours in the Bo Bunny papers - it makes for beautiful non-traditional Christmas Cards.

Hectic Life

Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while. Life has been hectic to say the least with my full time job now involving travel I have started to bring work home with me. Classes are still trucking along with an Off the Page class this weekend and then a Christmas Card special on the EKKA Show Day on Wednesday.
I have made a few cards though that I will need to take photos of this week and I will post some of them up.
I have some of the new Cuttlebug borders which I bought during the week - I can't wait to play with them. And I bought from the US a few of the Stampin Bellas Stamps which I am dying to use also. I wish crafting was my full time job!
I am off to the EKKA in Brisbane tomorrow with my husband, I haven't been for a number of years, so it should be good.
I have finally given my blog a new name after Vicki from my card class told me it wasn't very creative. I have combined my love of music with cards - so I thought this was fitting. Who knows I may change it again! (Hope you like it Vicki!)
Must be off - counting down until the Olympics Open Ceremony although I am not sure if I will be able to stay up and watch Australia walk in!
Happy creating!

Made this afternoon

I have been battling a cold this week. Don't you hate it when you don't have any energy to do things? I sat down today to get my cards ready for my next class and struggled with lack of creativity. I did however overcome and ended up making some lovely cards for Thursday night. I also made this one to give to a friend who is about to have a baby any day now. I love this Stampin Up set - Little Wonders I think it is called. I stamped the teddy on watercolour paper and coloured with watercolour pencils and a watercolour pen. I love the way it has turned out. Sorry for the quality of the pic, I took it quickly with my phone.

Melbourne 08

Hi Everyone!

I just got back from 4 days in Melbourne, two for work and two for pleasure. I didn't get time unfortunatley to look in any stamp stores....maybe next time.

The weather turned it on for me on Thurs and Fri but rained on the weekend - typical!

I have not had time to do any new cards over the weekend - but I am very excitied about going to the shop on Thursday! We have so much new stock in - from new totes, to storage, new papers and so much more - so make sure you get in there!

Thought I would load these up. Some cards using Stampin Up stamps - a couple of my favourites that were the hostess stamps. I coloured the flowers in with a blender pen and used Rocket Red Brilliance

Off The Page

Thanks for my comments Colleen and Vicki! LOL - I think you are probably the only two that have looked on here!

I had a great class on Thursday night - I used one of my favourite new stamps - it is a Combi from Inkadinkado! Here is the pic -

I also have recently made this clock that I also taught in one of my off the page classes - it is using nearly entirely Kaiser Craft product - I love Kaiser Craft!

I am off to Melbourne for work a couple of days this week so I will not be teaching on Thursday night - although my lovely mum is and she has some nice cards planned.
Have a great Mother's day all the mums out there!

My First Pics

I am sitting here with a glass of wine, just finished a lovely dinner cooked by my wonderful husband and uploading some photos for you to have a look at. I have taken them this evening - so the light isn't that crash hot and you really need to take pics without a flash on to be able to see everything on the card clearly. If anyone has a trick to taking pics of cards - please let me know!

I don't want to bombard everyone with lots of cards - so I will just put up a couple tonight of my favourites. These two are little teddy bears that I have drawn. The first one is quiet simple and the second one is using one of my favourite stamps designed by Rachel Greig. Hope you like!

My First Blog!

Hi Everyone!

Well this is my first blog and I hope that you will find it interesting. I don't have a lot of time so I do hope that I can try and keep it up to date as possible!

The reason that I started this was to share my creations and also learn from others. I teach card making and off the page classes at Craft A Lot which is in Logan, QLD. For those of you that are nearby I would love to see you at class!

I work full time during the day - I love my job but it is pretty full on. I would love to have more time to do craft - but wouldn't we all!

I love theatre and singing and perform in my local theatre groups. I also love my TV shows - which reminds me - Australia's Next Top Model is about to start! ;)

I will endevour to take some photos of my work and hopefully have some up over the next few days! Thanks for dropping by!

Smiles!
Claire
